On February 29th, Harrah's Ak-Chin is proud to present The Platters. This doo-wop vocal group was formed at the very beginning of the rock-and-roll era in the 1950s and continues to tour the country today. The Platters have scored a number of big hits, including "The Great Pretender," "My Prayer," and "Twilight Time," and they were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1990.
