The legendary California band Papa Doo Run Run was formed in 1965 and are widely known as the band that sounds just like the Beach Boys! That sound led them to surf music icons Jan and Dean, who they toured with for the next few years. Then in the 1980’s Papa Doo Run Run began touring and recording with members of the Beach Boys for the next 2 decades! During this time, the group had an unprecedented 15-year run as the “Celebrity House Band” at Disneyland! Over the years, the band has released 10 CDs and a full-length DVD. Their ground breaking CD “California Project” earned them a Grammy nomination. And their 1975 hit ‘Be True To Your School” reached a Number 1 spot in California. Today, Papa Doo Run Run tours all over the world, with their act encompassing all the great Classic Rock hits from the 1960’s and 70’s, with a special emphasis on re-creating the hits of the Beach Boys!
